lotterypuzzle atlas

Other puzzles

This piece, versus others

The catalog is the 160 sequential bit-length P2PKH addresses funded 15 January 2015. Other objects that share the word puzzle appear only with a primary URL and a date.

On-chain

This object

160 sequential bit-length P2PKH addresses inside a 15 January 2015 funding transaction. Interval for address N is [2N−1, 2N - 1]. That is the only object the catalog enumerates.

Same word, different object

Mix-up cards. They exist so a news headline does not get merged into this catalog.

Genesis-block OP_RETURN, August 2026

Mix-up

Block 963629, about 19:45 UTC on 22 August 2026. crypto.news, citing Galaxy Research, reported a 255-byte OP_RETURN: someone claimed to have made a wallet puzzle from information in Satoshi's genesis block, with extremely low entropy. That is a different transaction, a different block, a different object. It is not the 2015 160-address P2PKH catalog. Gap: the OP_RETURN transaction id was not extracted as a primary in the 2026-09-11 sources pass.

1FLAMEN6 art puzzle

Mix-up

Vanity address 1FLAMEN6, tied to the 2015 painting The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto by coin_artist with Rob Myers. BitcoinTalk thread #766000 is the community record. News reports treated 1 February 2018 as the empty date. That is a visual/art contest on a vanity address, not the 160 sequential bit-length P2PKH set. Historical, not an active prize on this page. This atlas did not re-read that spend transaction in the 2026-09-11 chain spot-check.

Brainwallets and passphrase puzzles

Mix-up

Challenges that hash a phrase into a key. The search is over a wordlist or a known encoding, not over [2N−1, 2N - 1]. BIP39 will not generate this catalog. Do not point a brainwallet cracker at #71. Primary for the method: Ryan Castellucci, Cracking Cryptocurrency Brainwallets, DEF CON 23 (2015), with Brainflayer released at that talk.

btcpuzzle.info token / pool shares

Mix-up

A solo pool with ads and a BCPZ token. A share in a pool is not the UTXO. Same addresses, different product. This atlas is not that pool.

Other sourced families

Included only with a primary URL, a date, and a different-object line. Not completeness.

Large Bitcoin Collider

Forum statement

BitcoinTalk #1573035, opened 2 August 2016 by rico666. A distributed collision search: generate keys and test them against a set of funded addresses, not against one sequential bit-length interval. Different primitive from this catalog. This page does not claim an active prize, a live pool, or that the 2016 homepage still operates.

Vanity prefixes versus this catalog

Method

A vanity miner searches for an address whose encoding matches a chosen prefix. VanitySearch is a public example (Jean-Luc Pons). A vanity prefix is not a bit-length interval [2N−1, 2N - 1]. 1FLAMEN6 is vanity plus art; the 2015 series is sequential scalar ranges.

Gaps, not filler

Named absences. Do not invent a family to look complete.

2026 OP_RETURN transaction id

Mix-up

Block 963629 and the 255-byte report are secondary-news supported. The raw OP_RETURN txid is not in this atlas's sources list yet.

Chancellor Nakamoto as a separate series

Chancellor Nakamoto as its own series has no primary URL in this atlas yet. 'Run BITCOIN Run' likewise. Gaps, not cards.

Run BITCOIN Run and similar passphrase contests

Named in earlier atlas notes without a primary URL. Not promoted to a family card.

Other bit-length contests after 2015

No additional sequential bit-length P2PKH contest was given a primary URL in this wave. If one appears with a dated primary, it can join this page. Until then it is absent.
